  1. Dear Nancy, I am looking for information on my great aunt, Sr. Margaret Schneider (born Antoinette Gertrude Schneider 25 Dec. 1887, in Columbus,OH) She entered the novitiate of SND in Reading,(Cincinnati) OH, professed 12 Aug 1909. She died 24 Aug 1981 in Reading OH Motherhouse. I remember her as she was teaching Biology at Emmanual College in Boston MA. The sisters in Reading don’t know much about her since she was so long in MA. I would love to know more about her, where she received her education and the different roles she had in her time in SND convent in Boston. Or anything else you might have about her. Several of her sibling sisters were also SND nuns in the Ohio Province, which is why she came back to Ohio when she retired.

  4. Dear Ann,
I am trying to locate archive records for my grandmother Eileen English, who attended the boarding school in Namur, Belgium in the 1890s. Several of her sisters were at the school with her. They had been sent from Ireland. Is there any possibility records still exist for that time? Thank you so much!

  5. Good morning. I recently came upon this site for the Sisters of Notre Dame’s Archives and am trying to locate any archival records for my mother Mary Niland (Page) who attended St. James School from 1917-1929. I notice there are some records for those years still in existence and I am wondering how I might see what information on her might be in them. I have a photograph of her class (taken in front of St. James School) dated from about 1920 which I would like to share also.Any assistance you might be able to provide would be very much appreciated.
